Skatepark maintenance & repair - the most comprehensive range of services from Evolution Skateparks

Evolution Skatepark Ramps are pleased to offer one of the most comprehensive and specialist range of skate ramp maintenance and repair services to ensure the continued safe operation and success of your wheeled sports facility.

We at Evolution recognise that a significant number of facilities and equipment in the UK are perceived to be at the end of their serviceable life, or damaged/neglected beyond economical repair. Having worked with more alternative manufacturers skate equipment and construction materials than many of our competitors, and dedicated to achieving results that equal or exceed original factory standard, Evolution continues to increase the number of clients and facilities across the UK that have benefitted from our renowned high quality workmanship and professional expertise.

If you’re considering what to do with equipment or your facility, take a look at the summary of services below:

Site/Equipment Evaluation

Our highly experienced (not sub-contracted) staff can visit your facility and carry out a full inspection and assessment of the equipment and site in general, with the provision of hard copy report.

Provide written recommendations and quotations for maintenance/repair work required.

Provide alternative suggestions and/or written quotations for new equipment if specific units cannot be rectified.

Preventative Maintenance

Evolution offers ‘preventative maintenance inspection’ contracts on a minimum 12 month term with optional quarterly, 6 monthly or annual inspection intervals

This service ensures you have a professionally managed inspection regime in place for your facility, with the added benefit of minor preventative repairs and maintenance being carried out at the time of inspection. The emphasis is on ‘preventative’, a ‘stitch in time’ principle which extends the serviceable life of your equipment whilst minimising unexpected and costly major repair.

Contracts include the provision of hard copy unit inspection reports with recommendations, risk assessment and/or action taken.

Equipment Upgrades

Where equipment no longer conforms to current BS standards, Evolution can assess the level of work required to meet such standards and carry out on-site modifications, upgrades or component replacement if deemed financially viable.

Furthermore, Evolution can carry out (subject to evaluation) general on-site upgrades including substrate surfaces, riding surfaces and fixings/hardware in addition to the retro-fitting of steel enclosure panels, wear protection plates and enhanced ‘rolled’ toe-plates, click here for more information about skate ramp technology.

Equipment Relocation

Should it be necessary to consider temporary or permanent removal of equipment from an existing site for reasons such as base area repair or unexpected area redevelopment, Evolution Skatepark Ramps operate a wide range of vehicles and plant including lorries mounted with large and small cranes, allowing us to consider single unit or entire skatepark removal and/or relocation.

Repairs & Maintenance

Whether it be through age deterioration, inferior quality or vandalism/abuse, Evolution have an unrivalled level of skill and experience to carry out minor or major repair and maintenance work to most manufacturers conventional skate ramps and associated equipment to an equivalent or superior standard from that of the original specification

With highly experienced, engineering based site operatives and the support of fully equipped site vehicles and a vast range of stock materials, Evolution can offer a rapid response and emergency repair service including:

  • Complete riding surface replacement (composite, laminate, steel and plywood) including substrate if necessary
  • Localised impact, vandalism or fire damage repair
  • Structural failure rectification (subject to evaluation)
  • Steel riding surface non-slip re-coating
  • General overhaul/refurbishment
In addition, Evolution has the capacity if necessary to remove equipment off-site to our factory premises for significant repairs or modification, and reinstate on completion, to reduce on-site disruption.
