The riding surface of any skate ramp is one of the critical elements that contribute to the success of the facility. Evolution skate ramps are designed to allow 4 surfacing options:
Whichever riding surface option you choose for your skate ramps, the framework principle remains the same. In the instance of Option 1 & 2, the opportunity of change from one to the other in subsequent years is possible.
The Evolution ‘hybrid’ system offers an ideal ‘cross-over’ between desirable elements of ‘alternative’ surfaces, combining the strength and durability of a non-slip coated 3mm mild steel riding surface with the exceptional noise suppression characteristics of our ‘standard’ waterproof substrate, to a total surface composition depth of 24mm.
With all the key benefits of our ‘steel on steel’ riding surface (see option 3), this option is ideally suited for projects where noise sensitivity is paramount.
