RAMP TECHNOLOGY

At Evolution we pride ourselves on the usability and durability of our equipment.

Our key benefits, outlined below, demostrate why we are an inexpensive alternative to concrete structures.

Offering the strength and low maintenance qualities of a concrete skatepark without being a permanent fixture.

STRUCTURE
GALVANISED STEEL FRAMEWORK: unrivalled strength/durability.

JIG MANUFACTURED: maximum precision, quality and continuity.

FULLY MODULAR SYSTEM allowing:

• Multi-directional and cofigurational possibilities
• Layouts can be adjusted easily to maintain interest
• New units can be added over time
• Units can be removed and relocated easily
• No 'on site' manufacturing

The angle between ground and ramp must be smooth and minimal.

Our CURVED TOE PLATES allow ramps to meet the ground at a virtually 0° angle providing a smooth, safe and fluid ride.

Surface is a critical element. It must provide traction to the wheels and durability to withstand impacts and weather.

We offer 3 surface options but strongly recommend Skatelite Pro, a low pressure laminate. Fast, smooth, durable, fire resistant.

COPING WEAR PLATES protect the area of the platforms behind the coping, preventing grooves or holes.

These areas are prone to damage from stunt pegs on BMX bikes when grinding on the coping.

RAILINGS exceeding heights recommended by ROSPA for extra safety measures.

Our railings are heavy duty, made from 40mm box section steel.

Being the most prominent part of the structures are available in a choice of colours that may blend into or compliiment the surroundings.

Steel profiles extend on their exterior edges to act as 'grindable' edges without intruding on the riding surface.

This also provides a CONCEALED EDGE for the riding surface to prevent impact damage.

GALVANISED INFILLS prevent build up of litter, debris and unwelcome loitering under the ramps. They also reduce likelihood of vandalism and tampering underneath ramps.

Our infills surpass other manufacturers by using heavy duty 3mm lazer cut steel, fixed with Tamper Resistant Mono Bolts to stop intrusion under the ramps.
